Our family has been to Chilsung few times. For father’s day, we ordered the Prime Rib Eye Steak (Kot Deung Shim), Pork Belly (Samgyeopsal). The server cooks the meat for you. We also ordered stew Kimchi Jjigae, and the kids’ favorite,topokki (mild spicy).. They also have a wide variety of side dishes which are filling on their own, and they provide complimentary steamed egg and soup. Service can be a little slow during busy days but we are lucky to have an accommodating server. It's on the slightly pricier side, but the quality of meat and food , plus the thoughtful extras like probiotic drinks for the kids and ginseng drinks for the adults make it a good dinner experience

We came here for my birthday dinner, and the portions were much bigger than we expected. We originally wanted to add a beef intestine hot pot, but our server looked shocked and told us that it would be way too much food for two people. I said we could just take the leftovers home, but she explained that the amount would be so large that we probably would not even be able to pack everything. She suggested ordering less first and adding more later if we were still hungry—and she was absolutely right. We ordered the agwi jjim and the seafood pancake. The seafood pancake was very good—thick, crispy on the outside, and nicely cooked, although there was not a huge amount of seafood in it. The monkfish had a firm, pleasantly chewy texture, and the sauce was very flavorful. It was not simply spicy; it had a rich and distinctive taste, and the fish and other ingredients absorbed the sauce very well. The agwi jjim came on a huge platter. Even though it was delicious, the two of us could not finish even half of it, and we still took home a large container of leftovers. I also really appreciated our server’s honest advice. It made for a memorable birthday dinner. My only complaint is the banch

Very friendly serving. 10 kinds of Bandhan were amazing 👏 🤩. My main dish, sulungtang was so good also. Nothing to complain. Spacious Place. Lots of parking. All superb!

I had a great experience here!! Delicious and affordable and a very chill atmosphere. Was catching up w a friend and it was perfect. Also, huuuuge amounts of delicious banchan!!!! I'm new to Korean dining so maybe that's normal but either way I will def be back tysm 💕

This is my go to restaurant with my parents. We have never been disappointed coming here. My favorite lunch combo is the bulgogi with the cold noodles. Truly the perfect combination. As for the soups, my go to is always the 2 types of spicy beef soups. The bonchons are all delicious as well! I just wish they have kimbap was well, but hey, I would just get fatter haha!
